Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the articulation type cooperative learning and direct intruction on students’ mathematical communication skills on set material. This secearch is a quantitative research with experimental method. The instruments in this study were testn questions and observation sheets. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. T-test analysis which shows a significance volue of 0,000 < α = 0,05. Learning outcomes in the articulation type cooperative learning model are higher than learning outcomes in direct learning.the average volue of the articulation type cooperative learning model is 75,93, while direct learning is 68,47.
