DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE TEACHING MATERIALS BASED ON VIDEO LEARNING WITH A STEM APPROACH TO TRIANGLES AND QUARTANGLES FOR CLASS VII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

This research aims to: (1) Find out the effectiveness of video-based interactive teaching materials for learning with a STEM approach in triangle and quadrilateral material for class VII SMP Negeri 27 Central Maluku and (2) Find out students' responses to interactive video-based teaching materials for learning with a STEM approach in the material. triangles and quadrilaterals for class VII SMP Negeri 27 Central Maluku. This research and development refers to the Borg & Gall research and development design modified by Sugiono. These development steps consist of 7 steps, which include (1) potential and problems (2) data collection (3) product design (4) design validation (5) design revision (6) product testing and (7) product revision . The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and test questions. The quality of teaching materials has three indicators, including validity indicators, practicality indicators and effectiveness indicators. Based on research results for validity, teaching materials obtained 66.66%, which means they are valid. For the practicality of teaching materials, it is obtained from the assessment of teachers and students where the practicality by teachers is 75% and the practicality by students is 79.48% which is interpreted as practical, for indicators of effectiveness including students' responses to the material with a score of 79.76% which is interpreted as good and N-Gain value obtained a value of 0.56 in the medium category, which means effective. This shows that the teaching materials developed by researchers can be used in the learning process at school.Downloads
