KEBERMAKNAAN SALAM DALAM KEHIDUPAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT
Abstract
Islam is a religion "rahmatan lil alamin" which has always called for the safety, peace and livelihoods in private life, social community. One of the teachings of Islam which is also a prayer to be practiced by Muslims is a greeting and salutation. Regards means a prayer/declaration of peace and security of the people who say hello to the people who greet. This means that the person who received the greeting was to obtain peace and security while in front of the people who speak it. The results of this study is the meaning of greeting in the social life of society is the prayer of salvation, peace and livelihoods, people who salute is sunnah but the answer greeting is mandatory. However answered greeting those non Muslims there is a difference of opinion, scholarly said not allowed but there are also scholars not only contemporary scholars but there are also scholars of the Salaf that allow as Ibn Mas'ud, al-Auza'i, Abu Umamah al-Bahili . They said good-bye to those nonMuslims on the grounds of the Prophet ordered spreading greeting (peace).Downloads
