The variations of pre-Islamic Arabic dialects play an important role in understanding the development of Standard Arabic, yet comparative studies that explain the relationship between the Quraysh dialect and other Arabic dialects remain limited. This study aims to analyze the differences among the Quraysh, Tamim, and Qais dialects in order to highlight the linguistic characteristics of each. The method employed is library research with a qualitative-descriptive approach to describe the phonological, morphological, and syntactic or lexical features of the three dialects. The findings indicate that the Quraysh dialect is considered the most eloquent and therefore became the foundation of Classical Arabic (Fusha) due to its clarity of pronunciation and structural consistency. The Tamim dialect preserves older linguistic forms with stronger and more emphatic sounds, whereas the Qais dialect exhibits phonetic variations and more flexible use of pronouns. These results affirm that the formation of Standard Arabic is a synthesis of the eloquence of Quraysh, the structural robustness of Tamim, and the phonological dynamism of Qais.
