This study aims to determine the influence of early assessment on children's growth and development. To find out how much the initial assessment has an effect on children's growth and development. The research method used is a type of quantitative research with a prodak moment correlation method. The population in this study is students for the 2023/2024 school year with a total of 94 people. The research sample is part of a population of 70 people. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, likert scale, and documentation. The research instrument uses a questionnaire that will be tested through validity and reliability testing. The data analysis technique used a product momet correlation analysis test. With the help of the SPSS 24 program. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the analysis of the product moment correlation test using the help of the SPSS 24 program obtained a significance value for the initial assessment variable of 0.000, the value ≤ 0.05, then the value of the initial assessment variable has a significant influence on the child growth and development variable. Second, seen from the correlation person value, where to measure the degree of relationship or relationship closeness for the initial assessment variable, it has a correlation value of 0.655, this value is between degrees (0.60-0.799), this value is seen from the degree of relationship guidelines, which means that the level of relationship closeness between variable X and variable Y is strong. Which means that the influence of the initial assessment on the growth and development of children has an effect of 6.55%. It can be concluded that early assessment (diagnostic) greatly affects children's growth and development.
