Implementation of Creed and Morals Material in Islamic Religious Education Learning at MI Islamiyah Tulung Harapan

Abstract

This study looks at how beliefs and moral values are taught in Islamic Religious Education classes at MI Islamiyah Tulung Harapan. Teaching about faith and good character is very important for helping young students develop their beliefs, actions, and understanding of religion at an early age. This study used a qualitative method and focused on a case study. Data was collected by watching classes, talking to teachers and school leaders, and looking at important learning documents. The results indicate that teaching about beliefs and morals is included in everyday learning by using lesson plans, teaching approaches, and how teachers behave as examples. Teachers use different methods like explaining, telling stories, getting students used to certain behaviors, and practicing directly to help students learn and use religious values in their everyday lives. The school setting and teamwork between teachers and parents are also key in helping this process go smoothly. Even though there were difficulties like not enough learning resources and differences in how well students understood things, the learning process has mostly helped students develop good behavior and stronger religious beliefs.
