Abstract

This study aims to conduct a study on character education on the behavior of students at Muhammadiyah High School Ambon. The method used is to understand the phenomena of what the subject of study experiences for example behavior, perception, motivation, action, etc., holistically and by means of description in the form of words and language, in a special natural context and by utilizing various. The study was conducted on students of Muhammadiyah Ambon High School. The aspects of study include, the cultivation of character education through learning, the cultivation of character education through extracurricular activities, the cultivation of character education through school culture, the cultivation of character education through reading and writing the Qur'an. The result obtained from the study is that the teacher has implemented these aspects to students at Muhammadiyah Ambon High School, by carrying out activities in the form of coaching that can provide character cultivation to students properly
