Manuscript Type

  1. Policy Overview (Gambaran Umum)

Jurnal Studi Islam accepts various types of high-quality scientific manuscripts relevant to the journal's focus and scope. All submitted manuscripts must meet the specific formatting, word count, and structural requirements corresponding to their type

  1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted (Jenis-Jenis Manuskrip)
  2. Original Research Article (Artikel Penelitian Asli)

Full-length scientific reports presenting original empirical or theoretical research that has not been published elsewhere.

- Word Count: 5,000 – 8,000 words (excluding references).

- References: Minimum of 15–25 references (preferably primary sources within the last 10 years).

- Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References.                                                                                                                                              

  1. Review Article / Systematic Literature Review (Artikel Tinjauan Pustaka)

Comprehensive, critical, and systematic evaluation of current trends, methodologies, and developments in a specific research field.

- Word Count: 6,000 – 10,000 words.

- References: Minimum of 25–50 primary references.

- Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Search Methods, Synthesized Themes/Discussion, Future Directions/Gaps, Conclusion, References. 

  1. Book Review (Tinjauan Buku) (Opsional)

 Critical evaluation and commentary on recently published academic books (within the last 2–3 years) relevant to the journal’s field.

- Word Count: 1,500 – 3,000 words.

- Requirements: Must include complete book details (Title, Author, Publisher, Year, ISBN, Page Count).
