POST-PUBLICATION DISCUSSIONS, CORRECTIONS, AND RETRACTIONS

 1. Post-Publication Discussions

Jurnal Studi Islam encourages post-publication academic debate to uphold scientific quality and integrity. Readers, researchers, and practitioners are invited to submit constructive comments, scientific critiques, or discussions on published articles through a Letter to the Editor.

    • Submission Procedure: Letters must be sent to the official editorial email jurnalstudiislam@uinambon.ac.id accompanied by clear scientific rationale and evidence.
    • Author's Response: The editorial team will invite the original authors to provide a formal response (Author's Response).
    • Publication Decision: If deemed relevant and scientifically sound, both the critique and the response may be published in a future issue of the journal.
  1. Corrections Policy

If substantive errors (e.g., data calculation errors, incorrect names, or affiliations) are identified post-publication without altering the main conclusions, [Journal Name] may issue a formal correction notice:

Correction notices will be published in the latest issue and directly linked to the original article in OJS.

3. Article Retractions & Expressions of Concern

Jurnal Studi Islam is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. Article Retractions or Expressions of Concern are handled strictly according to COPE guidelines under severe circumstances, including:

    • Major publication ethics violations (e.g., severe plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission).
    • Unreliable conclusions due to fundamental scientific errors.

Retracted articles will remain accessible in the OJS repository; however, the PDF will be watermarked with "RETRACTED," accompanied by a formal statement explaining the grounds for retraction.
