Publication Frequency

Lingue: Jurnal Bahasa, Budaya, dan Sastra (e-ISSN 2775-6386; p-ISSN 2775-8524) is published twice a year, in June and December. The journal has followed this schedule consistently since its first issue in June 2019.

1. Volume and Issue Structure

  • Each calendar year constitutes one volume consisting of two issues:
    • Issue 1: published by the end of June;
    • Issue 2: published by the end of December.
  • Each issue normally contains 12 articles, or 24 articles per year.

2. Submission and Scheduling

  • Manuscripts may be submitted at any time throughout the year.
  • Manuscripts received by 30 April are normally considered for the June issue, and manuscripts received by 31 October are normally considered for the December issue.
  • Meeting these dates does not guarantee publication in a particular issue. The issue in which an article appears depends on the completion of peer review, revision, and production.
  • Peer review and revision usually take 2–3 months from submission to decision, as described in the Peer Review Process. Articles accepted after an issue is complete are scheduled for the next issue.

3. Publication Mode

  • Articles are published as part of a complete issue. The journal does not publish articles online ahead of their issue.
  • Once published, articles are freely available in accordance with the Open Access Policy and are licensed under CC BY 4.0, as described in the License Terms.
