This issue has been available online as Volume 4, Number 1, of the journal since 2022. It contains five articles authored or co-authored by eight scholars from Indonesia. The authors are affiliated with several Indonesian higher education institutions, including Institut Agama Kristen Negeri Ambon, Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Ambon, and Universitas Negeri Makassar. All articles in this issue are written in Indonesian. The topics addressed include the development of an English language learning syllabus incorporating ecotourism perspectives, violations of politeness maxims in drama scripts, language errors in news published on Facebook and Instagram, critical discourse analysis of media coverage concerning the Rohingya conflict, and imperative speech acts among university students in a campus environment.
