Vol. 5 No. 1 (2023): Language, Culture, and Literature Studies
This issue has been available online as Volume 5, Number 1, of the journal since 2023. It contains seven articles authored or co-authored by 16 scholars from Indonesia. The authors are affiliated with four Indonesian higher education institutions, namely Institut Agama Islam Negeri Ambon, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Universitas Negeri Makassar, and Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. All articles in this issue are written in Indonesian. The topics addressed include family language culture and children’s linguistic behaviour, code-switching and code-mixing in multilingual communities, the communicative functions of traditional Makassarese kelong ganrang bulo texts, conversational implicature in forensic linguistics, the vitality and subordination of regional languages in Maluku, sentiment analysis of product reviews and brand image, and halal tourism development as an effort to preserve cultural heritage sites in Central Maluku.
